Computers
Things that I’ve done with computers are
- writing a lot of stuff in statically typed functional programming languages (mainly Haskell, but also Rust),
- becoming a power-user of a personal knowledge base (Obsidian),
- configuring Linux systems with NixOS and packaging software for nixpkgs,
- typesetting articles, leaflets, presentations, books, invoices, letters etc. with LaTeX, Pandoc and Typst,
- trying out various static site generators such as Hakyll or Zola (which the page you’re reading uses),
- writing useful bots that communicate via IRC, Telegram, Matrix and Mastodon,
- interacting with web feeds (Atom, RSS) and contributing code to an RSS reader (Miniflux),
- converting my favourite dictionaries to be used by dictionary software (GoldenDict, sdcv),
- double-entry bookkeeping and time-tracking powered by Haskell (hledger),
- discovering a lot of web radio stations and hosting my own (Liquidsoap).
I enjoy gluing smaller things together (for example, using jq) and integrating them into my daily digital life which takes place mainly in neovim on i3.
See my GitHub profile to find out what I do with these puzzle pieces—especially niveum, my NixOS configuration, where I put them all together. The following projects also might be of interest:
